Purpose of the Rules:
Your post should preferrably have some relevance to Texas or, dealing with business within Texas.
Any posts deemed offensive by the Webmaster or Admins will be removed. If possible, we will let you know WHY your posting was removed. We will also NOT allow bringing personal "grudges" into the forum.
We require your images be kept under 75k, which will allow faster viewing, and we do not allow ANY midi, wav, or any other sound or video files. This is due to a bandwidth agreement with our server.
Posting in All Capital Letters, either in the subject line or body of the message is not allowed. This is considered shouting and rude on the internet, unless it is an urgent safety related message or a message from the Webmaster or Administrators.
Posting Photographs: The Rules for Posting a picture, as well as a "How-To" are located here.
Comments, suggestions, criticisms, critiques and praises of another poster’s photograph should include a photograph of your own, with the exception of praises ONLY, in support of your remarks. Don't just provide problems, provide solutions and sound advice along with any references. Improvement comes from constructive criticism, not destructive criticism. Also, sarcasm in replys is STRONGLY discouraged as this serves NO purpose whatever.
Rate Your Post The forum script is set to require messages to be rated by the posting individual. Each new message must be rated one of the following:
Picture Content: Ok, there seems to be some confusion over what is acceptable on an "ALL Ages" forum. So, this is the rule that "may" get added to the most as we have problems pop up. Just keep in mind that NO pictures of a sexually explicit nature are EVER allowed on the TTB!
Bondage pictures are allowed following the same rules as above.
Sexually Oriented (as opposed to Nude Art, etc.) pictures are not allowed (think of ANY picture that might be deemed as porn to fall into this rule). They are more appropriate for an Adult Content Forum.
Posts that link to "Adult" websites, promote adult websites or are pornographic in nature will be removed WITHOUT comment. They are NOT welcome on this forum and can get your membership either suspended or totally revoked. Since the TTB offers FREE web hosting for our members, we DO NOT allow even the "free" web hosts who place adult banners on your pages. If your link contains these, your posting will be removed as a violation of this rule. Also, if your Portfolio page(s)include a link to your own "pay" or "members only" areas, then you must set up a page without these links to use to link to the TTB. We have no problem with you having these areas but, this forum is not a place to advertise a pay site.
NON-MODELING POSTINGS: As the TTB is NOT only for folks in the modeling industry, I feel we should reinforce the restrictions on other media postings. If you are an artist who works in video, audio, etc. please make your posting and ONLY link to your videos, songs, etc. This way we do NOT use up our servers bandwidth and still allow you to get your work out there.
WORKSHOP POSTINGS: While we allow the posting of workshop type postings as a service to the TTB community, we DO limit the postings to once per week for each workshop. An exception will be allowed ONLY if relevant changes were made from the original posting. The reason for this rule is to prevent multiple postings per day for 1 workshop. Abuse of this rule can get your membership suspended.
MULTIPLE POSTINGS: We encourage all members to post as often as they wish HOWEVER, please limit yourself to ONLY 3 postings on any 1 subject. This does NOT include replying to responses to your post, only to original postings. If others reply to your posting feel free to reply to each of these on a 1 to 1 basis. This rule is meant to keep folks from basically spamming the board with posts and thus moving others postings farther down the forum and thus less likely to be read.
AGENCY POSTINGS: Any Agency, Manager, Talent Scout, Booking Agent, Etc. MUST provide their State issued License number and include a real person’s full name, phone number and address as a point of contact. Photographers introducing models is acceptable as long as you are not involved in performing the booking for them. This rule does not apply to parents or appointed guardians who are acting as a "screen" for someone who is under 18 years of age. If you post without following these guidelines, your posting will just be removed and your membership suspended.
The rules are easy to follow, so enjoy your visit. Please be thoughtful and
post accordingly. Thanks!
Thank you for taking the time to read the TTB's rules. The TTB acts as our online community
for Texas and about Texans, and encourages models and talent (including, but not limited to modeling,
acting, singing, dancing, etc.) of all ages to participate. HOWEVER, those who are under
the age of 18 are encouraged to involve their parents in all Internet modeling-related
activities, and those age 13 or under are REQUIRED to have
parental participation on the TTB. To maintain a degree of civilized society mentality, we have
set forth these rules and a Code of Conduct that MUST be followed when you participate
here. Although the TTB is a semi-public forum it is not a place for people who have agendas that
are incompatible with this forum's intent. Please read each one carefully and be sure that your
posts on this forum comply with the policies described below.
Your post should reflect the attitude, language and conduct that you use when presenting your portfolio to a client, an agency or as if in your own studio. And if need be, a way you would present yourself to your parents or grand-parents.
(G) General Audience,
(Y) May not be Suitable for Viewers under the age of 18., or
(R) NOT Suitable for Viewers Under 18 Years or at the Workplace.
Posts are subject to be deleted for improper rating usage.
Fetish pictures are allowed if they do NOT show any genitalia (ie: NO pictures with "spread shots of vaginas and no penis shots).
The staff of the Texas Talent Board attempts to verify the people and control the posts that appear on the forum through use of the registration and profile systems. However, no system is perfect but, this is the best we have so far. We assume NO liability for the content of ANY posting or statements made by anyone other than TTB staff.
Other Rules will be added as needed. Lets hope we don't have to add them
Complaints about the operation of this board should be emailed to the Webmaster/Owner ONLY, not posted on the board.
